Practical metal screw cap to 70 mm, white, suitable for hot filling for preservation up to 98 °C (pasteurisation-proof), but also suitable for storing food and for cold filling. The caps offered here are suitable for all standard screw jars with the twist-off neck to 70 mm.
As replacement lids, they are suitable for standard small and large jars, preserving jars, tumbler jars as well as for canning jars and delicacy jars. During and after hot filling, a vacuum is created inside the glass when the contents cool again, which seals the glasses hermetically.
For proper closure, we include written instructions for each package (English language not guaranteed). The material of the cap is made of steel / tinplate. The cap has an internal diameter of 69.40 mm and an internal measurement from cam to cam from 66.25 – 66.90 mm.
This lid comes in proven quality from German or European production and is subject to strict quality guidelines. We do not recommend the caps when filling oil and greasy products. To order or if you are not sure whether the lid is the right size, please refer to our picture with the measurements.
