Use: 5925 tape is made from a durable acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties. This results in an exceptionally strong double-sided foam tape that adheres to a wide range of high surface energy (HSE) substrates including aluminium, stainless steel, composites, acrylic, polycarbonate, as well as painted or sealed wood and concrete. Our tapes provide excellent shear strength, surface adhesion, durability and temperature resistance.

Function: Virtually invisible attachment keeps surfaces smooth. Can replace mechanical fixings (rivets, welds, screws) or liquid adhesives. No more drilling, grinding, reprocessing, screwing, welding and related cleaning work. Creates a permanent seal against water, moisture and more. Pressure sensitive adhesive sticks on contact and provides instant handling strength.

Apply tape: first align the materials and make sure all surfaces are clean and dry. Use a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water before applying the tape. When the surfaces are dry, apply the tape to the surface. Thirdly, apply at least 100 kPa(15psi) pressure with a J roller. As a result, you develop a high strength adhesion and binding. The binding strength increases after installation.

INSTALLATION: At room temperature, about 50% of final strength is achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours. Notes: cut off a corner of the adhesive side with a knife to remove the film insert more easily.
